Staying in Turtle Rock campground. Restaurant on site. Very busy! Staff working hard to keep up with volume. Short staffed like everywhere on the coast. Worth the wait. Good food. Full bar too

Best Mexican Food north of Mexico! - a restaurant at a campground? Figured it would be mehhhh for food. We were surprised to find an incredible tasting Mexican meal and very friendly wait staff. Highly recommended!

Our vacation rental was located next door to Tortuga and we pulled in about an hour before closing. They were friendly and accommodating. We ordered several margaritas and food dishes. The service was quick and friendly. The food was tasty and flavorful. It was a bit "Americanized" to see peas, carrots and corn in the rice, but it tasted good. Unfortunately they are closed Monday and Tuesday so we didn't get another chance to try anything else but we would probably order again, given the opportunity. Maybe next trip 😉
